Advent: The Season of Waiting

Lord rend the heavens and come down.
Lord, Jesus, enter our brokenness,
Shatter our darkness with your light.

God, tear open the heavens and come down.
Lift us up out of the mud and the mire.
Take our pain, take our sorrow.

Take all that is wrong and make it right.
Change us from the inside out.
Light Your fire in our bones.

Give us your heart for the hurting.
Give us your love for the lost.
Give us your hope for the hopeless.

What if?

(I totally grabbed this video off of Jessica's blog, but I didn't think she'd mind :)

What if we didn't just watch the video and get chills and think, "yeah, that's a good idea." and go about our usual routines. What if every single one of us who was convicted when we watched that actually ACTED on that conviction? What if we always acted on conviction? I want to move into ACTION, not just stay in thought-world (as much as I love the land of the theoretical...).
